"I must have visited this social club 30+ times in my life and it has been part of my local area (sawley)much longer.A fantastic stage and function room for 200 people..welcoming even to non members. It also has pool and a nice snooker table. The only thing that turns me off is the lack of a strong real ale. But that's a personal thing."

"We nip in now and then for a few pints and games of snooker. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the drinks reasonably-priced. The only reason I have knocked a star off is because they don't serve Bass! There's an illuminated sign and a swinging sight outside which both advertsie it giving hope, but alas... there is no Bass hand pump waiting inside :("

"Nice place to go for a drink. Good number of screens about to watch any sport and the prices are very good for the area. Pool tables are kept in good knick as is the snooker table. Staff are friendly and the function room is a really good size."
