"The food here is pretty good, the treats and tray bakes are lovely. My issue is with cleanliness. Not behind the counter, that's not the problem. I noticed one morning, before the cafe had opened that the tables were filthy. They were obviously not cleaned at the end of the previous day. But, I assumed they would be cleaned before they opened. Nope. So every time I came after I couldn't help but notice now that the tables are very rarely cleaned. You can forgive a one off but this seems to be all the time. There are crumbs and food debris over most of the tables. The customer sitting opposite me is waiting for his food at a dirty table and even when delivered they didn't give it a wipe. I saw another customer put hand sanitiser on the table and clean it herself. Which I have also done in the past before I realised it was a job they had given up on doing. Like I said, I don't think this issue of cleanliness is behind the counter, but the customer area really needs looked at. Just as I was about to post this, the kid at the table behind me said to his dad there were crumbs everywhere, even on the seats. To counter this, I want to add that the staff are lovely. They are always friendly and polite."
