"After looking round a variety of places to buy a corner sofa I was beginning to lose hope of being able to find the kind of sofa I had in mind and in fact what should be a nice experience was beginning to make me feel like there wasn't the right sofa anywhere for us. On walking through the doors of Furniture Village there it was, just waiting for us to buy it. We were approached by a Sales Consultant...lovely Tracey who sat with us and listened to what we wanted. We were offered a drink (which was very nice indeed) and browsed around but came back to the one we saw when we first entered the shop. Tracey was so helpful and thorough and not at all pushy. She was knowledgeable about the products and time frames. A big thank you to Tracey! We are just excited to receive our new sofa now - can't wait!"

"This shop has been reported to trading standards for committing fraudulent transactions. I was asked to leave a £650 deposit for a £2100 bed and mattress and the outstanding balance would be on finance. I received a phone call a week later to confirm delivery and to pay the outstanding balance. When I told they lady it was on finance she immediately told me to ring the store and see why they hadn't done the credit application. After calling the store they asked me to come in and do the credit application. The following day I received an email to say I had be declined finance. When I called to ask the store for my deposit back I was told they will keep my £650. Once I started to correct the rude man on the phone and told him he didn't do his job properly and should never of took any of my money without doing the credit application first he then hung up the phone. I called back and was greeted by someone else who then told me the manager would call me back. Couple of hours later the manager called I explained the situation and the only thing offered to me was 10 percent discount on the bed. I had to report this company to America express and trading standards. Just think how many elderly or vulnerable people have never questioned these people about not get the deposit back. Disgusting that they are allowed to do such thing. Also dave still waiting for your call back mate."
