"I visited the shop recently spontaneously whilst passing through Tavistock. I had just been for a walk with a friend, so was visiting the shop in walking clothes. I felt that because of my attire, upon entry I wasn't taken seriously as a customer/nor potential buyer, which in fact I was. I found the experience unhelpful and somewhat humiliating, as the lady in the shop not only suggested a) I possibly couldn't afford the dress I was interested in, b) that it wasn't suitable for the event I had in mind and c) or her appraisal of me suggested that their sizes might not fit me, all of which were incorrect assumptions. However much I like the dress, I wont be revisiting the shop."

"What an unexpected find this shop is. Beautiful quality clothes, cleverly curated by the owner, who seems to know what will flatter your shape and suit your taste. It's a joy to go in there and quite the antidote to failed online shopping attempts, that so often end up in trips to the post office to send returns or keeping something that isn't quite right. The clothes are definitely investment pieces (they are expensive), but they are definitely some of the most worn and commented on items in my wardrobe."
