"Just a polite note to make shoppers aware. If you buy an item of clothing , for example as a present, then this shop does not exchange. I was disappointed to find, after I have made a call to the shop today, that I cannot exchange an item that does not fit. I note, from speaking to the shop, that there is a sign up but I wasn't told that / directed to this at purchase. I appreciate that this is a small shop but it's normal practice for clothes retailers to offer an exchange, if not a refund (I haven't asked for refund). Friendly lady in the shop on Saturday and some quite nice items of clothing but won't, unfortunately, buy from here again and will recommend friends + family don't get caught out with this, as quite an expensive item of clothing cannot now be worn."
