"Disappointing experience Meats were fine but sides were poor. Mash potatoes. Garlic cubes. Veg and crumbles for desert were horrendous as they tasted as if the chef used old stale butter or margarine in their preparation. The food flavour and quality did not justify the cost. Sorry will not be eating at Blu again"

"Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent food - salmon nest, beef cheek, salad, soup. The only downside is turkey tower - a small portion that looks like a starter, not a main course. Nevertheless, I recommend it."

Highly recommend and we had a lovely guy James looked after us . Great service very professional. Food was beautiful and will definitely return ."

"This was mines and my partners first time at Blu restaurant. We decided to book here based on other very positive reviews and recommendations. We were so glad we did as everything was perfect from the start. On arrival we were greeted by the manager who was also serving tables. He was friendly and very welcoming and we were seated at our table immediately. I noticed straight away the nice relaxed atmosphere and how attentive the staff were. Everyone looked as though they were having a nice time. We had a drink as we browsed the menu which had a great selection. We ordered two courses. Our starter arrived to the table promptly, the food was presented beautifully and tasted even better. Our waitress was friendly and attentive from the beginning. The main courses also presented nicely and tasted delicious. We had planned to go somewhere else straight after dinner but decided to stay for a couple more drinks as we were enjoying it so much. I'd highly recommend visiting this restaurant, couldn't fault it. Perfect evening!"

"Absolutely tremendous. Best restaurant in Belfast. Oisin was our server and was attentive and amazing. We started with the duck hoisin canapés and they were done perfectly. For the mains, my wife had the salmon and I had the chicken stack … both cooked to perfection and served beautifully. The trio of dessert had a wonderful fruit coulis with it. An absolute must if you are in Belfast 10 min walk from city centre. Tremendous !!!"
