"Dreadful experience, I was not happy with the advice given and reported them to the Financial Ombudsman as a result. I most definitely would not recommend this company. Hi Emma - Regarding your response to my review. This is not the impression I been left with. I made a complaint to LIFT about the poor advice I received. All I got in response was denials. Hence I had to go and take the complaint to the Financial Ombudsman. I just would not recommend this company at all. It is really poor to give bad advice and then deny it."

"As first-time buyers, we can't thank enough the fearsome duo composed of David Baker and Michael Hall who made the whole mortgage application process a real bliss after we were stuck for more than 2,5 months with L&C/HSBC, having foreing income. As a comparison, Lift Financial/Natwest issued a mortgage offer within 14 days after getting in touch with us for the first time. David was extremely prompt to answer (even on a Sunday…) and really cared for our case although the relatively low loan amount we needed was not really interesting for him and his team in terms of commission amount. Michael has been equally helpful and reliable. Again thank you so much because thanks to your hard work we managed to take the next important step in our lives in becoming homeowners. We won't hesitate to warmly recommend you to anyone. Let me tell you that you are more than welcome to come and have a drink in our new home! Thanks again so much! A really grateful French couple."
