"My 3 years old little girl had ear piercing at this shop today. Staffs not very much friendly. During the ear piercing, the gun stuck with the stud one side and she struggled to release that gun from the lobe. She looks panicked and asked help from other staff but still not able to release the gun. It was very painful for my little one. Almost after more than 5 minutes she managed to press the gun properly to release it from stud. My girl was very brave and strong as she managed very well even I can imagine how painful it would have been for her. The staff not expertise enough to do this at all. The other staff was ok. Not happy with the service at all."

"I visited there as I was looking for something for my hair & also some golden hoop earrings .But ,surprisingly they were expensive for Claire's !!? I used to shop at Claire's here in L.A. in early 2000 & still do sometimes here in L.A.,& as long as I remember/ know ,they were very much more affordable !! On the cheaper side !! But ,they were not over there in Wales !! Or maybe because of £ vs $ ,I felt that way !? They had a nice set of golden hoop earrings came in different sizes ,small & mid & large ones ,but it was about more than $ 20 ?? Maybe that's about right here ,too ? They had many cute stuffs for Halloween ( black glittering spider hairpins ,etc I almost bought ! ) & good stuffs for kids ! But,I didn't buy anything ! There was a British family on their holiday? shopping there ,the father was buying earrings for his daughter .I thought that was very sweet !! It reminded me of how my dad used to buy me nice things !! It was good to see Claire's there in Newport ,Wales."
