"My 14 month Cockapoo was groomed at The Dog and Groom yesterday and I am very upset with the outcome. The finish can be described as patchy at best. There were a couple of areas which were shaved practically to the skin. There is a large area on my dog's chest which is now bald and some smaller shaved areas down the dog's shins. I think the lady must have forgotten to put a clipper guard on when doing these bits. Lots of long tufts of hair remain on the dog's thighs and the top of her head is long on one side. Under the chin was not clipped at all. I have been ringing round other dog groomers to see if I can get someone to sort out the mess. If I could give zero stars in this review I would."

"Carole is a One Stop Shop Top Notch Groomer. It’s a passion and not just a profession which shows through with the care and time she takes to groom your pooch. She soon calmed my nervous senior JR and gained her trust rather quickly. It was more than a pleasure to be able to stay and watch the magic happen. Reasonably priced, gentle friendly banter and welcomed advice thrown in for free. We will definitely be back and highly recommend."

"Carole genuinely adores dogs - it’s not just a business for her. And my dog loves her right back! She can’t walk past her door without stopping g to say hi. Since we started going to Carole, our little dog has started thinking of grooming sessions as a treat instead of torture. The best part is she does the whole thing right there in front of you instead of behind closed doors. You can see exactly what your dog is going through. It involves a lot of kisses."

"Great place. We took out 10 Month old cockerpoo and he loved it. Carole is great with dogs and so reasonably priced. She invites you to stay during the grooming and commanded respect from our puppy. While at the same time giving him a huge amount of love. Very helpful with grooming advice. The salon is by no means a posh pups Salon but if you want a good haircut and you dog to be treated well. This is the place to go."

"Carole is fantastic with my dogs. She welcomes you to stay and watch the groom if you have time for a natter. The girls are relaxed as they are not crated before hand. Carole’s dog sits in the corner of the room snoozing away, which I think relaxes the other dogs. Have always had a good experience here and great that you can see your dogs....no back room handling. Hayley"
