"In 2020 I purchased a Hugo Boss watch from Ernest Jones at Bath where the staff were very helpful and polite. On March 17 2023 I took the watch to the Leicester (my home town) shop for a new battery as my watch had stopped. The charge was £22.00 and estimated date for collection printed on receipt was April 4. I phoned Leicester branch on April 3 to see if my watch would be ready. An extremely rude and obnoxious man (manager?) said it wasn’t ready and battery replacements could take 4-6 weeks!!!! I told him I would like the watch back and my £22.00 refunded. The next day I had a phone call to say my watch (without the new battery) was ready for collection! Unbelievable!!! When I went to collect my watch he said the watch would have been ready if I had waited one more day! He took his time on the til to action the refund and said it would take 4 days to reach my bank. My account was credited that same day! If Ernest Jones cannot give a better after sales service than that why can’t they be honest instead of assuming the customers are idiots!!! I have now found an extremely efficient and polite watch repairer who has replaced my battery in 24 hours for a cost of £10.00. I highly recommend CM watch repairs who have restored my faith in customer service - thankyou"

"Walked in with my sister waited 5/10 minutes and no one greeted us. The assistant manager was just sitting there and colleagues were just chatting. The assistant manager proceeds to say he thought we were just browsing when we were waiting to be served. Do yourself a favour and walk upstairs to goldsmiths. They offer the most amazing service."

Being a young couple he understood that we had a low budget and showed us what was good for our money. We found the prefect rings and will definitely be going back again.
