I was slightly dubious when booking a room here I'd not heard great things,but still thought I'll give it a go and it really wasn't at all what I was expecting The staff are polite and very helpful the rooms for the price are a reasonable size and were clean and presentable. "Budget accommodation with a budget feel. Tea and coffee facilities are communal and not in the room. Blanket and fleece cover on bed, no duvet. Fleece would be very heavy to clean between each guest."

It is true that a restaurant is not nearby but the staff recommended a really nice pub, The Duke's Head, some 15 minutes walk from there and it was really worth it. The room and the bed were adequate, we slept well, everything was clean, nothing remarkable to say here. Also the breakfast was delicious and served to us by a thoughtful and caring owner."
