"Comfortable and clean room with a cosy bed. Room warm. We stayed in an economy room as we had the dog with us but it was still big with tea making etc. The owners are friendly and welcoming. We were staying for a night as we were visiting local family and friends. We will stay here again. The only negative is that an extra pillow would have been nice."
"Quiet, a bit run down but very friendly. UPDATE!! Having read Angela's reply I have to admit I feel guilty that I might have given the wrong impression of the place! We did indeed only go into the rustic bar area to see a cracking band. The room was heated by a brilliant log burner kicking out some superb heat which was really nice. We are due there again in March 2018 for a party and we have three parties travelling over and staying for the night. This will be an ideal time to check out this venue properly and update you with a more realistic account. I have added a star as it can't be that bad or I would not be going again!! :)"
