"Shocking company, just submitted a claim for legal and malicious damages and refusing to pay out in several minor technicalities, speaking to my solicitors and about to proceed them through the courts - payouts of 50% claims… can’t be legal..! Joke of an insurance outfit… what’s the point of having cover? Trust pilot reviews are all good when taking your money, unfortunately not so when it comes to paying out! don’t touch with a barge pole! Absolute robbing cowboys!"

"I originally had 6 properties with this company, but not any more. They wriggle out of "price matching" with a host of excuses, and hike up the policy prices. Dreadful and rude customer services, and very unhelpful if you need to claim a policy - god forbid Avoid & take your business elsewhere."

"Used to have 11 buy to let properties with CIA and now have none. On every renewal they were much more expensive than others and refused to honour their price match guarantee for the same/better cover. It is blatantly dishonest to offer a price match guarantee if you are not prepared to honour it."

"Don’t waste your money on this policy. After a tenant failed to pay rent and destroyed my house I put in a claim. I had to jump through hoops to provide a detailed claim form and proof. It literally took months to compile. I sent everything they wanted and then I heard nothing. I chased and they said the case was closed as I hadn’t returned the terms and conditions. Completely untrue. I never received terms and conditions. Also the agent said he received all my paperwork. Once you make a claim they reply to say only 50% of claims are successful. Do yourself a favour and try a more reputable company. These are cowboys"
