"A massive thank you to this wonderful pub and their staff who went out of their way for me today. Myself and my Mum were due to have the Christmas Sunday lunch, but sadly Mum who is 89, wasn’t up to it, so I messaged to ask whether they could do the meal as a takeaway for me. Although this is something they don’t offer, due to the circumstances they were happy to oblige. The 3 course meal was superb and both myself and my Mum enjoyed it. When I came in the pub also, you were all so lovely and friendly, so thank you all so much and when I’m next up in Yorkshire I will most definitely come back in. Thank you and Merry Christmas x"
"The best food we've had in a while! Amazing quality food and so tasty! We had starters - Halloumi fries and fish goujons to share and mains my partner had the chicken fillet burger and I had salt and pepper chicken fillet. We had onion rings - the best we've had in a while. Everything was freshly cooked and so tasty! Beautiful little pub well worth a visit! We're going back for tea today"
"We were staying in a cottage a bit further up the lane and were lucky enough to have this gorgeous little pub within walking distance. Food was outstanding. Such a cozy friendly atmosphere, the chef and landlord made us feel so welcome. Who would have thought that gravy in a baguette would be so lush!! My new favourite thing!! Would recommend everyone to visit but make sure you book first. Cant wait to go back."
