"Very rude pharmacist/ assistant today 2/1/2023. Asked her about adult cough medicine and all I got was ‘we’ve run out as it’s bank holiday’ before turning and chatting to her colleague. Absolutely rubbish customer service and ignorant behaviour"
"Disappointed with the service from Devan at Highcross. I asked about whether there was an offer on the Vitamin D tablets and he completely ignored my query at first and started to chat to another staff member which I found quite rude! No apology from him afterwards.. He also did not help in finding out how many points I have after. Despite the poor service I said thank you and bye, but there was no reply from him. Very unfriendly. He definitely needs to get trained on how to provide better customer service before he attempts a customer facing role."
"Pharmacy staff literally berated me for their own catalogue of failures. - Paid and picked up an incomplete prescription, pharmacy nformed me that I could collect in a ‘couple of days’ as informal/vague as that - Went in to collect after more than a ‘couple of days’ as it was so vague I didn’t think it’d matter that much. Was told it wasn’t in stock and the lady set me up on text messages and said I’ll get a text message when it’s ready - Got a text to say it was ready, didn’t mention in the text I had to get by a certain date - Went in a week later to collect and was rudely spoken to by a member of staff, the amount of aggression/annoyance coming from her was unreal considering I wasn't even kicking up a fuss (like I am now). She said they called numerous times and left voicemails, that I won't be getting a refund and I need to order another prescription. 1st of all, didn’t expect to get a call from them and it was private hence why it got missed. 2nd of all, when I checked, it was 1 vm (ON THE SAME DAY I got the text message) saying I needed to collect my tablets as it’s going to expire in a couple of days. To me, the voicemail indicates to me the prescription had been for a while, so why did I get the text message on that day (which is what I was looking out for?). Regardless of if I’m in the wrong or not, she shouldn’t have spoken to me like that. But the fact is, they’ve failed on their end to EXPLAIN AND SET UP A CLEAR PROCESS - do you think I enjoy going to the pharmacy numerous times to wait around - so this makes it all the more terrible."
"Incredibly rude staff member on the checkout - just left boots highcross today 15/08/2022 at 2pm after going in with my grandparent to buy 2 packets of paracetamol - served by an old lady on the first till - I offered to my grandparent of using my boots loyalty card mainly to gather the points but also with an added bonus of having a student discount on it - the woman was incredibly rude and started a long lecture to me about how I couldn’t use the discount for someone else - the total was £2.50 which means the discount was only 25p?! But that’s fine as she was adamant that it wasn’t allowed (I’ve never had this issue before) I said to my grandparent that it was fine and I would cover it - to which she then started lecturing again saying that if he was going to pay me back she wasn’t giving me the discount as it still counted - at this point I just ignored her as she was so rude I wasn’t planning on getting the money back from my grandparent anyways but the accusations she was making were very off putting and we just wanted to leave - the whole time she was lecturing us and eventually we left without letting her finish. All of that for 25p…."
"Terrible service from the security. The guy was incredibly rude when he approached me. I had my assistant dog with me and he said to me “you aren’t allowed to bring your dog into the store, so don’t bring it in!”. He didn’t even approach me nicely, just straight up came up to me and yelled at me. I replied to him saying “this is my assistant dog therefore she is allowed to come with me, plus I held her in my arms the entire time I was in the store” I was only in there for 30 seconds to pick up my prescription and I got yelled at my the security guard. He was totally unprofessional and didn’t not approach me kindness. I suffer from severe mental health and this was certainly not needed at all!"
