"Beautiful gardens and a lovely tour with the Head Gardener, ahead of a terrific performance of La Boheme tonight. Picnic was lovely and relaxed. Easy in and out, and well worth it. Staff very welcoming and service spot on. If you haven't been- you are missing out!"

"The quality of the Opera is excellent, the performance was incredible and moving. The new theatre is a great venue with brilliant acoustics and excellent veiws from all seats. The evening as a whole is a memorable and enchanting experience with the choice of hiring a tent, having a Picknick in the gardens or a marquee dining option. Walking around the grounds before the opera is a great time to see the sculptures and take in the exquisitie veiws across Leicestershire. Most of the guests went for the full black tie however there is no pressure to strictly adhere to this policy. As a whole Nevil Holt Opera is a wonderful beautifully set evening."
