Reviews
"Terrible service. Last Friday I went to pick up a prescription for my mum. She got a phone call from the pharmacy saying her prescription was ready, she said that she would pick it up at 3pm. Unfortunately she couldn't make that time so I went to pick up it up after work, she was told on the phone however that the prescription would be ready for her at 3. I got to the pharmacy at 4:50 pm. There was only 2 people working behind the counter and 6 people in the queue in front of me. It took ages to get served and when I did the prescription was not ready, the pharmacist needed to sign it off. In the meant time the queue was getting larger, even going to the door. I finally got the prescription and left half an hour after I entered. Terrible service. I would like to add I am not having a personal go at the staff, I understand they were doing everything they could. My review is against the pharmacy firm not the individuals."
"If I could give no stars I would. The pharmacist would not dispense an emergency prescription for me even though it was not my fault that the repeat prescription hadn't come through from the GP, and also even though 111 said they should issue it. After 10 yrs going there I will be moving my repeat prescription service to another pharmacy. The pharmacist from another chemist that dispensed the emergency prescription confirmed that Robin Lane should have issued it."
"After having difficulty completing pre payment on prescription due to barcode being ripped then to be told that it was a 'favour' to have pre payment on my prescription is extremely unprofessional from a pharmacist and expect a better service from a chemist. Most individuals would choose not to have medication if they did not have to take them."
"Lloyds pharmacy staff are brilliant. They are quite often very overstretched but they always go the extra mile. I have been using this pharmacy for over 2 years now. The staff are very polite, patient and friendly even when under conditions of massive demand. And they are always very helpful. This is one of the best pharmacies in Leeds in my opinion and a pleasure to use."
"By far the worst chemist in west Yorkshire, a task as simple as delivering a weeks worth of daily medication every Friday of the same tablets and dosage seems to bewilder them. The delivery is often cancelled with out prior notice leaving us having to chase the medication often resulting in it not being delivered so it has to be collected in person, if it's not collected the same day (Friday) and is collected the next day (Saturday) then they will refuse to deliver it the following Friday because they can only provide a weeks worth at a time and doing so would mean we hold more than a weeks worth, the logical answer would be to remove the extra tables to compensate for this so the regular deliveries are not affected however this is apparently too much to ask. In addition to this if the Friday happens to be a bank holiday they again will not bother to deliver the medication owing to the pharmacy being closed, again this is with no prior notice and with the practice refusing to deliver until the following Friday meaning that we have to go a full week with out medication that is supposed to be taken daily. As for the staff, if you phone them you usually have to phone twice as the first is not answer (presumably ignored), once they have answered the phone they are very abrupt, often refer to previous prescriptions that are no longer relevant and hang up without a care if you have any further questions. Trying to get them to deal with a weekly repeat prescription in an appropriate professional manner is like asking a blind monkey to explain Ikea instructions, you'd of thought after a year they'd be able to come to grips with this task but it seems not. In the end we've grown tired of the lack of reliability and professionalism and opted to change pharmacists and GP subsequently rated as a 1 star as there is no lower rating."
