"Our son was really taking to heart being told off by adults - not in a belligerent, teenage sort of way, but genuinely struggling to process the conflict between this and the 'perfect' behaviour he was aspiring to. A strong word from a teach could send him in a spiral for days, which was beginning to lead to not eating (even desserts!). Meeting Priti has nipped all of that in the bud - he is now much stronger in himself to cope with these knock-backs. Priti took him through what was happening in language he could engage with and gave him fun 'exercises' to practice the tactics with which she armed him. I can honestly say we have a different child living with us now - and he's never missed out on an ice-cream since!"
