Villare Leicester City Centre Hotel

"Pros: rooms were big and spacious Cons: 2 spotlight in room would not turn off without turning the main power and TV off. Notfieid reception who bless his heart tried to come and sort it out but he also failed and feels there is a fault somewhere. Very annoying lights right in your face. - room was cold entering and through out taking ages to warm up - mini fridge was awful not good quality or cold. - bath tub was dirty. - duvet was of low quality and nor comfortable in cold weather. Overall, it was not the best stay."

"Staff were friendly on arrival, room was big, modern and fairly clean, although dust in places and bedside tables were sticky. Coffee mugs looked unclean and stained. Lovely view of Leicester jubilee Square and very noisy but that's a given considering where its situated and the fact that it was a Friday. Walls are paper thin and you can hear every move from other rooms, including people showering, conversations and going at it. Balcony was run down and very rickety underfoot. Could easily climb over to the next balcony which was worrying as our balcony door was broken and didn't lock. Did ask the young girl who was on shift about a key and she was very helpful with helping us check keys but unfortunately the lock was broken. Also they seem to book the rooms out to anyone, no matter age or party size as next door we had a group of young lads who played music, shouted and were just generally loud until very late and then started up again at 5.30am. Hotel staff did nothing to sort this and certainly didn't take our complaint seriously the next morning. Definitely not worth £109. Won't be staying again."

"Room was absolutely beautiful we are very happy with our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as special as they could. I made a special request for something special for my partners birthday just for an extra touch and was welcomed with Beautiful swan towels and rose petals on the bed. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be staying here again."

"Great stay. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond. Alice in particular was a ray of sunshine. Only issue was noise but I brought headphones and the hotel can't help the location!!"

"Great location for city centre and just a short taxi ride from the train station. Staff lovely and even offered to move us to another room after a noisy first night. Very clean and comfortable room, we booked the executive room with a balcony which was lovely. Would definitely stay here again if we could book the same room."
