"I requested cornrow (for crochet braids -which I'll install myself). I was told it'll be £40 or £45 if hair extensions were included. I went with the 45. Given the fact that this was the simplest braids I get done with the average hairdresser (who typically charge £30-£35 in Cardiff) for my self install crochet, somehow the owner Edwina convinced the assistant who did my hair to charge me £65 vía a phonecall - apparently for 'packaging the braids' strands ready for my crochet and some other reason which didn't make sense. I do not care if your business charge premium compared to the average salons. However there was a reason I asked the price before my hair was braided. The level of disrespect to not give me the accurate price beforehand really got to me hence why I'm here. The assistant was amicable but that was shadowed by the lack of good principle and overall customer service. I have been to this lady before 2 years ago and she also added an extra £5 to what she quoted before- again for my crochet braids. I'm offering my honest review- in terms of the hair braided- it was done to standard both times. If you visit this salon, just know in advance that they creep up the price during or after your hair is done and make it seem like it's your fault."
