"We had a wonderful meal here Saturday evening, so much so that we went back Sunday afternoon and both meals and experiences were thoroughly enjoyable. We have no hesitation in recommending it. We both really enjoyed every dish we chose and the most memorable were the seafood parcel and seafood soup but every dish was a success. There was a good choice of meat, seafood and veg dishes. The fruit brandy was a theatrical and pleasant end to the meal."

"Really tasty meal well cooked and pleasantly served. The restaurant is comfortably informal and gives a relaxed environment. I would have given a five-star review but there were a couple of negatives: 1. Our main courses took a long time to arrive (we had a deadline) 2. One course (though delicious) was not what we ordered. Despite the above, would still recommend. Editing to amplify my "really tasty meal" comment above... The food was truly great and tasted like it was prepared by someone who cares and I believe the prices were sensible for the quality."
