"First, the good bits Friendly service. Lovely homemade cake. Now the downright atrocious. Ordered two flat whites with oat. Here's a new Award. Worst cup of coffee either of us have ever been served. Managed to drink half, and then both gave up as the experience was simply disgusting. To be charged eight quid is beyond words. If you enjoy a decent cup of java, avoid at all costs."

"I came here with my family on a recent visit to Penarth and I was so happy with the amazing food and the wonderful service that we came back the next day. I find it extremely difficult to eat out because I have special dietary needs. My usual experience when looking at menus is, 'Oh what can I eat? I can't have anything on here!' However, I had a completely different experience at 'The Galley' because there was so much food that I could eat! It was all beautifully prepared and presented. I can't praise them enough. My family and I would definitely come here again, in fact it's the ONLY place we would recommend. Great food, great prices, great service. What more could anyone want?"
