"I'm an Education Officer with Dogs Trust, and recently visited Sherston Primary to do workshops with their KS2 classes exploring safe behaviour around dogs and responsible dog ownership. The school has a fantastic atmosphere and I felt welcome from the minute I walked through the door. The children were engaged and responsive, throwing themselves into my sessions with a perfect balance of enthusiam and reflection. The staff were great, supporting pupils who needed a bit of extra help during my workshops, and making it clear that, despite the excitement of having a visitor in the class, they still expected their usual high standards of behaviour. I had a very enjoyable day, and very much hope that I will be invited back again next year. A big "Thank you" to everyone at Sherston Primary!"
"Today, with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a 5m digital planetarium experience to 170 Reception to Year 6 pupils at Sherston C of E Primary School. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and found the hall prepared just as I had requested. The day was well organised with all groups arriving on time. The excited but well-behaved students enjoyed a rich selection of content: peering up at the planetarium night sky; visiting the International Space Station; learning about tornados & hurricanes; coral reefs and a future colonised Solar System.
