"Was a regular customer for a while, since change of ownership to the Bengalis it's gotten worse, no hygiene at all wasted food on the floor, staff nose picking and handling food without gloves, the staff can't understand a simple request as a CHIP ROLL £2.50 then have the attitude and want to charge £3.50 because the staff can't understand simple english"

"Ordered Saturday 10th December. Everywhere (Google, their website, JustEat etc…) states they open at 11:30am. Ordered on their website at 11:55am… payment was taken immediately… the order was pending for 31 minutes. I called at least 10 times, and eventually drove by and it was shut. Other people were waiting outside and peering through the shutters. My order wasn’t excepted until 12:26pm. I called at 1:30pm asked where my food was and as expected, they said it was on its way… how they knew that without asking me my name or address is magical… Food turned up at almost 2pm. I hadn’t been to this place for a while as standards had dropped. This secured the fact I will NEVER go here again."

"Ordered by phone today at 12.30 for a start it took 1.hour15 minutes to turn up but wasn’t to bothered as was looking forward to it being nice a fresh, I ordered two small lamb Shish wraps with salad and wanted chilli sauce in a pot!! No the chilli sauce was inside the wrap the salad had definitely seen better days the lamb was actually cold not Evan a little bit of heat, it was just sloppy and not very nice also ordered a portion of small chips which looked and tasted like yesterdays very very disappointing have been ordering for here for well over 10 years and have always enjoyed! not this time and I won’t be ordering from here again."

"I have used Becontree BBQ and fish bar for many years now. They food is always up to a good standard and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Would recommend!"

"It's hard to understand why there are negative reviews about this takeaway because whenever I have received an order of large fish and chips, or a kebab, they always taste really good, plus my delivery always comes impeccably wrapped, and on time! The fish is always served in a box, chips are wrapped up separately and the whole order is in a branded bag... Attention to detail you will not get anywhere else! The chips always taste freshly cooked and the fish is wow wow wow!!  You always get a massive portion of fish, larger than any other place in the area! Let's just say if you have a big appetite you will not regret ordering this!!! This time around (I have ordered from here at least 6 times) I ordered fish and chips in pitta and I was not disappointed as usual. This takeaway is my 'go to' for fish and chips mostly, but I do have other items on the menu and they taste great also.  All in all a fantastic takeaway!"
