"One of my very favorite places in London for tasty, creamy Guinness, mouthwatering pub grabs and perfect steaks accompanied by delicious trimmings, pies and classics such as haggis. Loving the Welsh rarebit from the pub grabs menu! Really impressive wine list with almost everything available per glass. Service always exceptionally professional and they do recognize guests that come back, which feels so very welcoming."

"A very very good pub! The chips were lovely and the Guinness was by far the best I’ve had in the UK. Very impressed compared to the pints of Guinness I normally have in Norfolk and Suffolk. I will be back when I’m next taking a trip to London."

"They have a dining room opposite of the pub where you can sit comfortably with some social distancing (if it weren’t too full). Make sure to stress on medium rare. Our steak was ok but the lamb came too cooked. The pie wasn’t bad, a bit bigger and watery than expected, but I guess it’s traditional."

"It's small, old school and expensive. But it's also known as one of the essential restaurant experiences of London and it's very hard to disagree with that. Phenomenal steak and brilliant atmosphere, well worth going. Also note worthy that the sides are absolutely excellent, save some space to go big on those as well."
