"Beware, as the policy i took out does not cover private treatment, only state run hospitals that are not fit for purpose. Son needed stiches within the EU so we went to a private clinic for the fastest treatment as suggested by hotel reception. Check this before taking out cover as this was not made clear when the policy was purchased!"

"Due to a medical emergency I had to undergo two severe surgeries prior to my flight as a result I was not able to fly due to doctors orders. I have been trying to get hold of them to get a refund for my flights but have been in the queue for over an hour trying to get hold of them, which caused me to cancel the call. What is the point of an insurance company if you can't get hold of them when you need them? This is a joke of an insurance company and I strongly recommend NOT using their services."

"Shocking service so far. I purchased a travel policy and received the paperwork. Unfortunately a dob is incorrect and I need to change this before we travel on Saturday. I have tried on numerous occasions (every day for 5 days!) to phone insure with ease, only to be on hold for well over an hour each time listening to the same recorded message every 15secs, your call is important to us and will be answered shortly. Clearly not that important to you. Please don't reply to this review and tell me to email, I've already done that!"
