"Green tomatoes was booked for me via a insurance company, Alton the driver was not only on time, having travelled from london to fareham to pick me up,,,his car was lovely and clean and he was so polite. As a taxi driver myself he made me feel safe and comfortable,, hes a credit to your company, when my appointment finished early he was there within 10 minutes to bring me home again. Thankyou Alton"

"After working as an owner driver doing exec work, I joined Green Tomato Cars (GTC) in Oct 2020 during the peak of the pandemic. I can honestly say I’ve not looked back since and base this review from then up until now. It took a little while to get used to where best to plot for work etc. but saying that, it was during lockdown, and comparing then to now, work always seems to find you, and not you finding work. The control room has their busy periods so knowing when to call can make the difference of a bad or good experience: if they’re busy then conversation will be short and you may feel rushed off the phone. But that’s to be expected. The controllers are friendly and professional. Any questions I’ve had have been answered in reasonable time. Their cars are new and reliable, and all you have to pay for is fuel. If you work hard the rent is free, and only a nominal insurance contribution is paid. Targets are achievable, if you’re not lazy, leaving time for a work / life balance. Everyone would want the rates/pay to be a little better no matter where they worked but honestly, weekly earnings are good, again, if you’re not lazy. It’s coming up to 2 years with GTC and I’d happily recommend working with them. They have a good bonus scheme. One thing that impressed me recently was an increase to the bonus scheme to help with the current cost of living crisis which was a nice touch. They have a referral bonus too. For fairness in leaving a balanced review, one thing I found is that you have to ask questions because sometimes it’s assumed you know what’s available to you as a company driver. Sometimes you hear from other drivers that things are available. But other than that, I’ve found GTC to be a good company to work for. Staff are friendly. You’re treated fairly. The passenger base are professional and respectful. Pay has always been on time and transparent. Hope this helps!"

"I work for green tomato cars as a driver. Have done for a few years now. Best cab company I’ve worked for by a mile. Good jobs, plenty of work, help from management and control team if and when you need it. During the pandemic GTC went above and beyond to look after their drivers (us) and I won’t forget that. If you’re a driver and looking for a great company to work for and earn some good money? Then give these guys a go. If you put the time in, the rewards are there."
