"Went to a Premier inn and they kindly booked a cab for me which was Candy Cabs(not known to me at the time ).spoke to operater who seemed kind enough and cab come in on time. That's as far as the praise and compliments go then as soon as I approached the car (I wasn't informed of make or registration of vehicle).if it was a cab and for me eventually replied yes so I say in. Soon as car left the hotel on main road I was told to pay the fare upfront. I was surprised and shocked by this and asked why the driver requesting monies up front and told it's after midnight I have to pay or he can't continue to which point he parked hid vehicle off main road with hazards on. I requested speak to cab company when he gave me their card and didn't answer my call but when the driver called they answered it and was told of this legalisation which was the same operater I spoke to on initial.booking. He informed it's policy and hotel should have explained but I challenged this and demanded why he didn't to which point he explained driver has other jobs and felt pressured I didn't mind paying upfront but NEVER in my life I had to and explained I'm not from London so if this is some rules based on Londoners you can't assume I'd know that. He did apologise eventually but I did inform him on Sony provide a good review I believe the driver quickly drove me to my location as quick as possible I won't be using this company service when I'm back in London working again..."
