"Were convenient at the beginning since they would know our address. However, there’d been several times that they were so late we’d have to use another taxi service. Our last experience with them will be our last as we’ve decided to not use them anymore. We booked a taxi to turn up at 12:40 and received a confirmation text message about it. The taxi arrived 10 minutes early so we had to rush to get ready to leave. When we came out he had gone so I phoned to get him to come back and they confirmed he’ll be back soon. The driver himself phoned to confirm he was on his way. I gave him clear directions to make sure he’d turn up. We waited for another 10 minutes without an arrival so I phoned to find out that the taxi was no longer available in spite of the fact that he’d phoned to say he was on his way. The lady on the other end seemed as though she implied as if it was our fault! She said that earlier the taxi turned up and no one came out and they tried phoning but no answer. I never received a call and in any case he was 10 minutes early so he should’ve expected to wait!! I was angry that she’d tell me that a taxi was no longer available whilst the driver said he was on his way. Clearly there’s miscommunication within the administration of the firm which is a bad thing. We then just got another cab from another firm. All in all they made us wait for 20-30 minutes for a taxi which never came all because the taxi turned up 10 minutes earlier than he should’ve done. We missed our bus at the destination and so had to spend an hour in high street waiting for the next one. If you want to say £2 on a fair then take this service but be prepared for unreliability!"

"Service this morning was poor. I’d ordered a taxi to take me to Guildford station at 6am. Called at 6.05 and told the driver had been delayed due to car problems and was 10mins away. I had a train to catch at 6.30, but thought that was just about ok. Looked at the tracking app 5 mins later and the taxi was still 15 mins away. Called again and told my postcode was not working in their system (it works on Google maps etc.) and the driver was still 10 mins away. At this point I cancelled and had to drive to the station and will have to pay for 2 days of parking. They would have been 30 mins late at that point. Poor service on lots of levels - the fact they didn’t call me nor keep me updated. Plus, given I was going to the station to catch a scheduled train, they thought it would be ok to be 30 mins late. Will not use them again."

"Horrible service. We booked a few days in advance to be picked up at a wedding at 15mn past midnight. Almost 40 minutes after the agreed upon time the venue was deserted, staff had left and we were still standing in the dark in a park. We called a few times and the lady on the phone was incredibly rude and told us I should have expected to wait since it was Saturday so they are busy (defeats the purpose of prebooking??). After we finally made it to the hotel the company still found it appropriate to charge 36 pounds for a 10 minute ride."

"Very good service even in heatwave. My first ride in an electric car, so journey was very smooth, with air-conditioning. As requested, driver took me to destination, waited while I attended an appointment, and then drove me back. Driver was pleasant, friendly, calm and confident. Altogether a positive experience, with confirmation of booking by text message. Would recommend Fives and Sixes!"
