"Took some finding but easy when you know how. Sat navigation takes you to housing estate but there is a walk way to get to the falls or you can park at the park and walk along the river. Locals didn't seem to know about the waterfall"

"Situated deep in Calderwood country park. The park, part of Almondell and Calderwood country park, recently achieved special status. Almondell has paths for all abilities with a visitor centre, toilets and disabled parking. Calderwood paths are more rugged and not really suitable for those with mobility issues. The paths wind through the beautiful old forest with many ancient trees. Both Linhouse and Murieston water run through the park and the waterfall runs into Linhouse water at the foot of a steep bank. It can easily take 2 to 3 hours to walk the whole park."

"The waterfall is best viewed from Calderwood on the west bank of Linhouse Water. There is a circular footpath round Calderwood which can be entered from Mid Calder. There is an unmarked branch off this footpath that takes you to the water fall."
