"This was the lawyer of my counterparty. The company claimed to have accrued £7000 in legal fees for being copied in emails and wanted me to pay these as part of the contract but was not able to produce any timesheet. It’s a very unprofessional company! Also I used my work email address with regards to our conversation and they forward the emails to my colleagues. Very inappropriate! To me a company that does not use timesheet is only able to inflate whatever fees they want! I contacted SRA which looked into it. Although they were not able to make them produce a timesheet, they are interested into knowing about any future court decision, whether their fees have been judged inflated!"
