"My daughter went for a trial aged 2.5 straight out of lockdown. She was a bit too excited in the class and didn’t say “please” and “thank you” to the teacher enough so was denied a sticker. Every other child in the class got one. She was told she needed to be more compliant and do better. Not a lesson I wanted my 2.5 year old to learn. Belittled by a ballet teacher. Luckily she has been learning ballet and tap ever since at Dorothy Marshall dance school and is thriving and learning to be a great dancer. This school makes allowances for differences and is inclusive and supportive as well as professional."
