"We came here for a lunch. the wait was so long. After ordering, it took 50 minutes for the food to come out. (The table who got the order earlier than us had waited for an hour and 10 minutes till they were served). As it turned out, however, the wait was immaterial as I would not go back even if there was instant service based on the food alone. I ordered a prawn mayo sandwich and my friend had a bacon egg sausage Sandwich. Both were not great in our opinion and I am sure the Tesco meal deal would be a way better choice. My sandwich was barely palatable (as shown in the picture) because the bread is so dry and had no presentation at all when it was served. We haven't got any apologies or explanation of why it was so slow and overall I would suggest you save yourself an hour of waiting to give some other nearby cafe a try!"

"A lovely Independent cafe! The breakfasts are cooked to perfection and a good size too! Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, always made to feel welcome. I have joined the locals in returning each week!"

"Best fryup I have had for a while. Good quality ingredients, decent portion and sensible price."

"I was recommended this cafe by a friend who told me the breakfast was lovely and the fried slice tasty. I arrived @ 10.45, placed my order and took my cuppa. After waiting 35 minutes I spoke with the staff who told me mine was next. It did arrive but no fried slice so I let the staff know. They did bring me a fried slice but dripping in oil and under cooked. It was if the bread had been dunked in a bath of oil and warmed up. I not one for complaining but I was really looking forward to a nice breakfast as I start work at 2pm and work through until late. I left most of the breakfast as it really wasn’t that nice. The sausages were very peppery which isn’t my thing but personal taste vary. I was not the only customer who was waiting a very long time in fact the table behind me joked and said we’re in for breakfast but hopefully get it for lunch. The staff are friendly just completely unorganised. Sorry but won’t be back"
