Manor Park Guest House

"Booked through airbnb and had no problems. Had a comfortable twin room with en-suite shower room. Towels and toiletries were provided. There is a fully stocked kitchen with every appliance you could need. A fridge and freezer are available to store food. You can cook for yourself and there is a dining room. Tea and coffee are provided but you need to make them in the kitchen (no kettle in room). Host was friendly and helpful. Rooms are across 2 floors so if you cannot manage stairs check room availability."

"Needed a place to stay while in Glasgow for a gig and Manor Park Guest House was perfect! I'd booked late on and they were really friendly and accommodating. My room was just what I needed, really clean with a comfy bed. The location was ideal, with a lot of places within walking/cheap taxi distance. All in all a great place to stay for a great price. The next time I'm staying in Glasgow, this will be the first place I try to book."

"Very nice budget hotel within a short walk from Glasgow's Westend and a short car journey from the city centre. Rooms could do with modernising but otherwise everything is very nice and clean and the staff are fantastic."

"We were booked and fully paid for 4 bedrooms including B&B before arrival on 02/08/2021 with four family including kids, homemade food, insulin etc. All the email communications had with Mr. Steve McKnight, Reservation manager. I have asked the correct address few days before arrival then he provide different address Manor park lodge, 48 Kilmarnock road, Monkton KA92RJ instead of what we have agreed. On 2nd August he has sent an email & asking when you people are arriving and I have replied in the evening before 5pm bcz we have started our driving early morning 4am from London. At the last he have sent SMS that the guest house is closed and you people not able to accommodate here! We all arrived around 5pm at the above address and he simply saying go to near Travel Lodge. He said I spoke with them and arranged your accommodation there in Travel lodge. We went to the Travel Lodge and the receptionist (Very nice lady) told us there were no communication had with Steve at all. Then we have realised we were cheated. He is simply saying I am sorry! The receptionist at Travel Lodge lady (I forgot her name) called many hotels, guest house etc and she tried more than 2 hours to find accommodation for us in Riverside hotel on that day! The next day the Riverside fully booked and no rooms are available anywhere in Scotland. Finally we find accommodation in Day's Inn in service station near motor way that more than an hour from Glasgow (towards London side) and we couldn’t complete our decided visiting destination bcz of this reason. We were completely under stress because of his drama. He committed he will pay back what we have paid to him and other accommodation cost as well. But he is not paid back yet. Scotland police also said they can't help for this matter. He know everything that is why he is doing such criminal activities. Please do not choose this hotel at all. Please don't contact Mr. Steve McKnight at all. Please stay safe from this people. Thank you!"

"When arriving you are met by the owners who immediately go out of their way to make sure your stay with them is an enjoyable one. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The decor of the hotel is very relaxing. If you have a problem with stairs you may have a slight issue. The location of the hotel is close enough to downtown and the airport but yet far enough away to avoid the noise and rush. The area around the hotel is very pleasant to walk through with restaurants and shops near by. Very nice and enjoyable place to stay."
