"Impossible to fault a place like this. Astonishing views. Awesome looking yurt tents in the huge garden. Bonfires in the garden(it was winter). Beautiful clean rooms, feeling both modern and rustic at the same time. Very fair price, lovely owner and lovely pets. Bed incredibly comfortable and clean had one of the best sleeps of my life here. Oh and very accepting of my own dog I brought along! I really hope to return here one day."

"A wonderful place to stay. In beautiful surroundings. I stayed for 4 nights in a small double room which was ample for me. Andrew was a great host, nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. They were welcoming, polite and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here whether hiking, camping or a hotel stay. Breakfast was ideal for my needs I could just help myself and get ready for a busy day. I even brought 90 year old aunt back there for a lunch which she & I thoroughly enjoyed. I can highly recommend a stay here and will be returning frequently with family and friends. I really love the fact that they are dog friendly people also. I'm really looking forward to my next visit"

"Okay to start the West Highland Way but guests must know this not at the very start of the Way. We stayed in a safari tent but the inflatable mattress wasn’t comfortable at all. Don’t expect anything from the included breakfast (there is even a difference for people staying in tents vs hotel). We did not have dinner here as we avoided this and headed back to Milngavie for dinner."
