"Every child deserves to be supported, encouraged and empowered in school. Unfortunately Conisborough College is not a school that does this. In my experience the staff at Conisborough are not leaders you want your child to follow. The schools is littered with leaders/teachers who do not cater to different learning needs, who actually tell students their work is rubbish, and put limits on a child's potential. Conisborough College is the epitome of a school that is failing a generation of leaders and needs a huge reshuffle. The whole school culture needs reshaping, the mindset of the leaders are diabolical and are very detrimental to the students that they are supposed to be teaching. As soon as my son left Conisborough and went to college to do a L2 BTEC he went from gaining 1 GCSE to getting a Distinction (the highest grade possible). My daughter will be starting from scratch when she goes to college due to lack of support at Conisborough but I have no doubt she will bounce back, but it's a shame she has to. If your child has autism, anxiety or actually needs teacher support for ANYTHING to do with learning, I wouldn't recommend this school."
