"I have never been inside this school, but the apples and plums that grow beside the street are delicious."

"I am amazed the school is still there. I went to the school 66 years ago I don't remember much except the school used to put us to bed every afternoon and I hated it as my normal bed time was 18:30 and I was not tired. I lived in a block flats on 198 Brixton Rd East Dulwich. Does that still remain"

"This was my 1st school. Has changed slightly but I still remember the two playgrounds. The larger by the school was for the infants and the lower for the Juniors. I passed my cycling proficiency certificate on the upper playground. I lived in Windsor Walk and walked to school every day going by the prefabs . It must have been quite successful as a place of learning as I passed the 11plus examination going to Archbishop Tenisons Grammar School at Kennington Oval The headmistress at the time was Miss Potbury with Mr Black as deputy (nasty piece of work as I remember) Did I mention that my 1st day at this school was SEPTEMBER 1950.!!!!!!! Keep up the good work from a grateful pensioner."
