"My son started at LWS in year 2 and will soon be finishing his first year. I am extremely happy with my choice of school; my son has fitted in and has made many friends. When I pick him up from school, many of the pupils both young and old will call his name or pat him on the head when walking past which I find very sweet. The teachers and staff are great and the head of school Lucy is fantastic and approachable at any time. My son is regularly invited to birthday parties and also out-of-school play-dates. LWS has a wide range of after-school activities such as chess and music etc and a popcorn club on a Friday which the children can socialise and watch films after school. I cant express how happy myself and my son are at LWS and looking forward to his future there. I see the school as a family and a hidden gem in the heart of Notting Hill. I would recommend the school to any child with a hunger to learn and explore and I can guarantee that they will love and thrive in the environment. As a parent, you will be happy knowing your child is treated with care and love and allowed a taste of independence crucial for their growth. Thank you LWS."

"Excellent little village school. It might not be the prettiest or have the best facilities but it gets the basics right: staff who genuinely care for the children, teachers who can actually impart knowledge and keep the kids engaged, and small class sizes. Don't trust reviews without comments and outdated threads on Mumsnet and do your own research! My only gripe is that the school is rubbish at marketing itself so classes tend to thin out towards the upper years."
