"Good there has been some improvements there except from the special educational needs base there is now messed up. There's no need to have two separate bases one for special needs and disabilities and other for autistic students. It's simply not fair on SEND students because some of their disabilities are visible and there are different kinds of them too, they should also have space for the base and enough support as possible. There's now less staff working in the SEND department and more in the Access Centre. Why can't this school place the system back up like it was before. The school now are trying to show off the Access Centre for autistic students and trying to make autism more of an a important disability. People with autism have struggles not only just struggling socially and also may struggle with learning. I am not impressed with the new ARP officially separated from SEND base, autism is a special need and disability and should just be SEND. SEND has a meaning, not access, nobody would get what it means. The two bases should be just back to SEND base. I think it's ridiculous to make an intellectual disability so special, there are people in SEND who suffer with mental problems or hidden learning disabilities. Autism is like one of them too and school are stupidly trying to show off their base as much as they can, autism is a disability and special need It makes no sense for it to be so different. It should be back to SEND. Access and SEND should just be all in one base like it was before. I am not impressed about the new base system, its also making it unfair for students in SEND. The Access students there get the priority more than SEND. Stupid"
