Twizzle Tops Day Nursery

"I discovered Twizzle Tops Day Nursery by visiting an open day and was immediately impressed with the warm welcome received from Dilasha who took me on a tour around the nursery. I left making up my mind that my daughter would join and she did in February 2020. Since then, I have seen a massive improvement in my child’s confidence, overall uplift in happiness, well being not to mention her vocabulary and general knowledge. Dilasha and her team go out of their way to make both parent and child feel at home, and each child is encouraged to learn, explore, grow their academic minds and develop their individual personality. My daughter is soon going into primary school and she will miss being at Twizzle Tops. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough it was the best decision for us."

"My child started this nursery in the baby room, we really struggled with separating with our daughter but the management team at this nursery made it so easy and comfortable for her, she is now in the pre-school room and has had massive change and improvement in her development. I can’t talk highly enough about their practice and their dedication with helping me personally feel comfortable with leaving my daughter in the hands of others. My daughter has so much love for her teachers and is constantly talking about going back to nursery even on weekends! "I would highly recommend Twizzle Tops Day Nursery Wembley to any parent. My son has been going there since he was a baby. He is now 3 and half years old. He absolutely loves it, thanks to the staff's caring, dedicated and loving attitude. He loves his teachers so much so that when we recently moved out of the area, I decided to keep him there until he goes to school. The staff and the manager have worked hard to build up a stimulating, creative, safe and positive environment in which the children thrive. The children are involved in a wide range of activities daily, both indoors and outdoors and I can see how my son has developed since being there. The staff and the manager are very friendly, helpful and approachable. They always have a smile on their faces, despite dealing with our challenging little ones!! I am very glad I chose Twizzle Tops Wembley and would highly recommend them. They have a caring and positive attitude. Their opening hours (7am to 7pm) are a great bonus!!"

"Can't speak highly enough of this nursery and the staff, My 3 year old son joined in September. I had a hard job setting him as he's very clingy to me, but the staff were amazing they always put my mind to rest and kept me updated on how he was doing once inside the nursery, My son now can't wait to go to nursery each morning loves all the different activities that this nursery provides. Would highly recommend"

"Dreadful nursery, my grandson had terrible nappy rash on the days he was at nursery, gunky eye, constipation, hand foot and mouth disease. Nappies are put on too tightly, leading to the inevitable poo up the back. Children are left to sit in their soiled nappies for hours until "nappy change time" . On any occasion my daughter tried to communicate, the motormouth manager went on the defensive and didn't allow her to get a word in. Calls were made conveniently at 3pm (end of shift) with a "made up" symptom to collect my grandson, absolutely fine every time, on one occasion we were told he had diarrhoea....he had a hard poo in his nappy at home, and was clearly constipated from the lack of milk/water during the day. I question staff training, how is a crawling child in the same room as children wearing their outdoor shoes (inside)? My own children were in nursery from the age of 11 weeks, and I have to say standards are pretty poor in comparison. Sending a few photos a day of children "having fun" is not very reassuring, especially when the child has teardrops on their cheeks. My grandson came home with a viral illness that had me laid up for 3 weeks, "fogging" a nursery can not replace proper cleaning, or common sense (no outdoor shoes indoors). The way children are introduced to nursery is very concerning, no gradual intro process, also no explanation of how staff maintain hygiene when changing nappies? hand washing between nappy changes. They didn't recognise my grandson was not able to use their bottles (different brand) and just put down he refused milk! They then returned the wrong bottle. 1 Member of staff was lovely, she did ask the right questions and seemed to care about my grandson. The leadership of this nursery seems to be the problem, perhaps the manager needs to listen. You can list all the qualifications you want(my daughter was told about the level she was at) but common sense, good communication skills and good management aren't within everyones grasp. Please retrain your staff on hygiene standards and communication skills. My daughter is not able to return to work until she finds a good childcare provider . The lies and defensiveness from the staff led to mistrust. Price is extortionate for the poor standards received. Avoid this nursery, especially if you need reliable childcare to hold down a job."
