"This was an extremely disappointing experience. We got checked ok then we walked through the hotel to find our room. The dirt and state of the decor was not acceptable. We opened the room to find the curtains hanging off, missing towels and the general appearance of room was very tired and not what we had previously been used to with premier Inn. We raised the issue with reception they said they were full and would move us tomorrow. So the next day we left out case with reception and that evening returned to collect bag and move to new room. It was worse!!!! Smaller room, hairs in the bed and a chair which was only suitable for the skip. We went to reception got a refund and left. We were due to stay 4 nights but 1 night was enough. The worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. We will not be giving them any more custom. They are a budget hotel but this was not acceptable, dirty rooms and hall ways decor very tired everywhere. They need to think of all their customers."
"Premier Inn, does what it says on the tin. But attached 'brewers fayre' pub/ restaurant was excellent. It might be chain pub grub, but the staff really care about the food. Had gammon steak 2 nights running it was so good,but other food options just as good. Breakfast also good"
"Looking a bit tired, especially from tge outside. Not a great first impression. Nothing a good jet-wash couldn't fix! Front entrance door poorly painted. Otherwise, room and bed perfectly fine at the price. We asked for a more comfortable chair for my mother and were soon accommodated. (Even if it was an old tub-chair they found and covered with a bed sheet!) Thanks though."
"Very nice room. Pleasant staff and good restaurant. The only criticism is we couldn't adjust the heating in the room and were too hot. Bit of a noisy road to open the window. We asked at reception they suggested using the fan which seemed a bit mad."
