"Unfortunately, came in ready to buy a pair of walking boots but had noone come over for ages. When someone finally did (only because she had a pair of shoes for someone else who had given up and she got confused), she said she'd send someone down but they never turned up. Even that offer seemed really halfhearted and disinterested. We left after a while like the couple before. Actually bumped into them in Ellis Brigham a few doors down... The next day, we went to a different branch in Slitalfields and had excellent service. I left with a great pair of boots so not a review of the chain itself but the service in this one was shocking."

"Hopeless woman behind counter too busy chatting & drinking water to ask any questions. Store absolutely filthy with leaves scattered upon the floor with a member of staff just standing looking pretty vacantly at them. I left with nothing."

"Came in after some walking boots, guided through the process by Casper who was very knowledgeable. Ultimately came away empty handed (footed?) but Casper arranged for some alternatives to be transferred to my local store. Having previously worked in Running shoe retail, I know he did a great job."

"Shambolic, waited around the till for fifteen minutes while the guy types on his keyboard Eventually ask if there will be anyone to serve me and am told I should have said I was there What happened to looking up. I was trying to do click and collect. He was unable to scan barcode and wanted photo ID. The rang it up as a sale and called having already payed for it a deposit which he had to deduct from my bill What a waste of time no wonder the high street is dying"

"Amazing customer service, went for walking boots and the last downstairs (I think her name was Eleanor) sorted me out. She spent a great deal of time with me sorting out proper sizes, the type of boot for me, the proper insoles for my feet and really knew her stuff. She did all this despite having lots of other customers and also doing a gait analysis on a customer for running shoes. Highly recommend this store."
