"First time I have been in corner house in years. Just popped in for a quick drink so wasn't their long but enjoyed what time I did have. There was a young entertainer singing thought she was very good. The place was clean and good service. Thought the prices were dear for a wee local. They were as dear as Motherwell. But sign of the times I suppose."

"Nice wee boozer lovely setting reasonable drink and decent dukebox locals friendly and up for a laugh... change over of what I would assume as manager half way through my time was a nice pleasant lady then a older guy took over think it was her husband changed the atmosphere a bit was quite blunt and militant left shortly after this as I like friendly bar staff and he was too blunt and short for me doesn’t take much to have a friendly persona and good attitude...apart from that I will definitely return as it’s a cracking local with a chilled out feel 75% of the time will just be wary of who’s in on shift."
