Reviews
"Awful! Bought a belt for 10 pounds that broke within 4 days. Took It back to ask about exchange/ refund. The person let me know there was a no return exchange policy. I understand this as it’s a vintage clothing shop. But I do believe the sturdiness of belts should be tested as leather degrades massively overtime. When I let the person at the desk know what happened they had zero empathy for the situation, and just said no returns or exchanges. Not impressed would not shop here again."
"Unfortunate incident with a staff member today that left me feeling uncomfortable. Tried on an item of clothing with a sale tag on and it fell off in the changing room. I decided to purchase and informed the staff member at the til that the tag had come off to which she refused to sell at sale price because she "curates all the clothing and would never put a shirt like that in the sale" which surprised me because I literally picked the item off the sale rack (check the CCTV!) I was left feeling embarrassed even after I tried to explain but she was having none of it. She said she wasn't accusing me but did exactly that. I still decided to purchase at double the sale price as I liked the shirt. Such a shame as I've come to love this store and have been pretty regular since moving to Glasgow. It's not about the money but more so how I was made to feel like I was cheating the system. Apart from this incident I always find amazing pieces and have lovely interactions with the staff!"
"TL;DR bad quality, overpriced, cheeky response. Would like to say the staff member on when I was in was lovely. However... I spent good money (too much) on trousers that had an irreparable defect that I did not notice until I put them on at home. I understand this is a risk with 2nd hand clothing, and places don't accept returns etc, but I do draw the line at paying ~£30 for something I literally can't wear. I messaged their instagram page about it and expressed my disappointment that they weren't willing to reconcile this in any way (I said I felt this was poor customer service) and the message I received back was so cheeky I am honestly in disbelief. So here I am doing the only thing I can do since I've literally wasted my money."
"Found an authentic leather jacket. I love it! Such great quality and at a reasonable price. Also got lucky as it was hiding in the men’s section but would’ve been way too small for a male."
