"Really do not like posting average reviews but I have to be honest. Firstly the poor young waitress spilt drinks all over table and my friends phone. She was very apologetic but other staff were in no rush to help her or replace our food/ drinks and I think the drink was just topped up. Food was nice tasting presented etc but that's only half of the experience, check backs were made but interactions did not feel very personable. Another waiter tried and continued to clear our table even when I made a comment that I was still eating, I have worked in hospitality before and would never clear plates until all parties had finished unless they had specifically requested. After this experience I would choose other restaurants on the high street over this one which is a shame. Edit: In response, we did say we weren't impressed but this was ignored. We reassured the waitress as we could see she was mortified. We did not say we had finished I actually said "I'm still eating but I guess so" and my friend said "well my friend is still eating" we did not see any discount on our receipt and we checked as we made sure that a service charge was not added as we would not have paid it in this instance. If you would like to make excuses rather than take ownership about what happened then that is your choice. Hopefully you can learn and move forward from our negative dining experience. I feel my review was fair as was my rating. Most would have given 1* if they had our experience."

"We turned up without booking and the staff were really friendly, saying if we have a drink in a pub for 15 minutes they'd have a space. The food was really nice, lots of choice. The new decor is much better, would definitely go back again."

"absolutely shocking, if there was an option for 0 stars that’s what I would give. I ordered off JustEat yesterday and my order took 2 hours to arrive, tried calling the restaurant but it was constantly engaged, the delivery person said it was because my house is far away which is absolute rubbish. The food was cold and was not enjoyable to eat. I spent £27 on my meal and all I got back from just eat is a credit of £7 which is absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!"
