"I've been coming up here since the 90's from West London.. I always pop in before I head back down south. Nostalgia, good banter from the guvnor (not seen him in a while, top fella) and great food.. Fish supper to king rib, pizza crunch drowned in salt and vinegar and the roll and fritter.. beautiful. Unfortunately, last week's visit was a slight letdown as the chips didn't taste fresh cut but from a packet, and not completely cooked through. Everything else was on point as usual. The lovely lady allowed us to eat our lunch in the shop."
"I will not support a business where staff are rude to their colleagues. I recently saw how they treat their drivers and felt sorry for them. It is so easy to create a sense of a team with a bit of kindness. Staff in this shop are always tense and a bit off, clearly not enjoying working there. My customer experience was poor, too. When you work in customer service, smile is your basic tool. If you're the manager and read this review, you have the power to influence the atmosphere in your workplace. Your staff need some training. Though judging by your cheeky replies to customer reviews, you lack the mindset to address that..."
