"Had to call Green Flag and was transferred to Macadams Rescue. The service was prompt, polite and professional throughout. The guy who attended was very thorough and offered sound advice and support. A highly recommended 5 star service."

"As part of my insurance package with LV I had breakdown cover with Britannia Rescue. My Golf developed a flat battery when I attempted to return home after a shopping trip. Britannia Rescue contacted Macadam Recovery, Keighley to fix the problem for me at 10.57 am and advised me that I could expect the garage to be with me within 90 minutes. Macadam Rescue had my mobile number and were to contact me before arrival. After waiting more than 2 hours I contacted Britannia Rescue again. Their helpline apologized for the delay and they contacted Macadam Rescue again only to be then told that they would be another hour. I waited another hour and a half without any contact from Macadam Rescue. I contacted Britannia Rescue again who were very apologetic- they hadn’t been told of any problems by Macadam Rescue who then said that it would be at least another one to one and a half hours. In frustration I asked Britannia Rescue to arrange for a more professional and reliable garage. They duly obliged and my flat battery was sorted by Yorkshire Rescue Services within the hour. Their service was excellent. I had been kept waiting by Macadam Rescue for more than 5 hours. I found their service to be very poor and extremely unprofessional. I will never use them again and cannot recommend them. Martin"

"Recovered me after a flat tyre as part of Green Flag recovery. Only issue I had wasthat I was on my own in a fairly secluded spot. Was told by Green Flag that I would be recovered in 30-40 mins. Was more like 90 mins. However, realise timings can be difficult to predict. Driver cheerful and chatty. Would give 5* ,marked diwn forrecovery time."

"My car was taken by my son without my permission and he was stopped By the local police who had this company to tow the car into storage. There was nothing wrong with the car and if they had telephoned me I would have collected it straight away. My son gave them my details but the police chose to contact me after the car had been recovered. The charge was 150 plus 20 per day of storage. I rang as soon as the office was open. The receptionist was totally unwelcoming, I felt she thought I was wasting her time and even gave me the wrong direction to retrieve my car. Nice little earner for them without worrying about being nice to whoever else phones in."
