"I was really scared to start, Ive never been very coordinated and like many people Im body concious and was worried that It would feel like trying to hang out with the populare girls at school. From the first session everyone was so welcoming, Lauren has truely created a positive and caring communtiy of people who cheer for everyones successes and help make you feel better on those less good days. The strength Ive gained from coming to class (emotional as well as physical) cant be matched with anything Ive done before. If youre considering pole, stop, just go, youll love it"
"Tonight was supposed to be my first session and I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately that's as good as it gets, due to me not getting to the venue 5 minutes before class, I managed to get myself a little lost which resulted in me being 5 minutes late. I fully understand the importance of being on time but when I walked in the person running the class asked me to wait. After 20 minutes of being ignored I got my things and left. Again i understand that the class had begun but a simple."you missed the warm up you will need to come another time" would have gone a long way. I have never received such poor service and made to feel so unwelcome. I will certainly not be going back"
"Everyone is lovely and it's such a supportive environment whether you are a beginner or pro! a Lauren is an excellent teacher, she makes sure to go at your pace whilst slowly pushing to help to achieve goals and master moves. Personally I find that gyms can be quite intimidating but I've never felt anything other than comfortable at LaKiTa (except when I'm trying to touch my toes to my head!) if you are thinking about giving it a go, I definitely would, you won't regret it!"
