"We rented a flat to find after 1 month mould growing on the walls, on further inspection the walls behind the kitchen cupboards were black rotten with mould. The flat then started to get worse day by day as we found out the structure of the flat had rising damp issues. We was never told about this issue from Lockwood or the landlord when entering into agreement. The flat stunk everyday of mould and mildrew and the flat was over 80% humidity everyday due to no airflow or ventilation (air bricks etc). We had to spend an extra £100+ a months running the heating and dehumidifier as well as cleaning products to keep on top of the mould and condensation. We had a little baby which the landlord and state agents were aware of but they they had no duty of care. We did try and get money off the rent considering all of the above issues but instead they wanted to put the rent up! Avoid at all cost, they are liars and could not care less about you, not to mention their prices are outrageous. The address of the flat is 2 Alliance Court l, Anderson Drive, Ashford, TW15 1BH."
