"This review about Holiday Inn Express Harlow, an IHG Hotel. stayed at this property for over a month. I want to point that the booking was done overseas and I am impressed how the hotel was reachable by phone and email and they responded to all my concerns and they were very helpful. On arrival everything was exactly as we asked and as member, I requested to change the room to higher floors and the request was honored. The rooms were basic, no safe, no ironing board or water, with tiny coffee station. The daily breakfast was very boring but after speaking to the person in charge they did bit twist by adding 1 or 2 items from time to time. The room service staff some were kind others did not know basic cleaning. The front desk staff were attentive to my requests and emails, so this resulted in accurate billing with no issues checking in and out. The hotel location is amazing and accessible to Taxies, private cars, nearby bus station, in other words, you can commute back and forth with ease. Many attraction spots for family and kids on waking distance not to mention shopping malls and restaurants. As long as the hotel staff and managers stays professional, I will visit this property again."

"Nice hotel in a nice spot in Harlow. My only draw back was it is challenging to get to and from London on the train. There is no tube station close to the area. And getting back to the hotel from the railway station at night to either have to walk the 3km or take a taxi if one is available."

"Hotel is decent, giving 3 stars not 5 as experience was affected in the last moments. I called in few hours after I checked out, notifying about €40 in cash and a train ticket i accidentally forgot in my room on the side shelf, and nothing was done to check if they’ve been found. To the point that the second time I called in, the guy that spoke to me didn’t care about the issue what so ever. In my opinion this is a very unprofessional manner. However overall decent staff at the reception and helped me out whenever I needed."
